I was born and raised in Altamont Illinois and could always remember being in a church. I grew up loving basketball, football, and Jesus in that order. I played basketball up until high school, but never gave sports my everything because of the sacrifice and hardship it takes to become an elite athlete. So naturally after graduation, I went to Eastern Illinois University where I would receive my bachelors in Kinesiology with a focus in Strength and Conditioning.

During my college years, I would have one foot with Jesus and the other in the world. Alcohol and Weightlifting consumed me, and the Lord graciously humbled me when I was 24 when I had my first seizure. During that time, Jesus got ahold of my heart and transformed me into a disciple of Christ and led me to my wife, Alex. We married in the spring of 2018 and have two amazing boys, Malachi, and Grant.

I have always loved sports and always wanted to bridge that cap of faith and field, and FCA came along seamlessly. As a past strength and conditioning coach, I see the impact that a coach can have on athletes and how much athletes can impact everyone around them just by their play on the field or court. In 2023, God placed me with FCA full-time as an area rep. To be able to see firsthand what God has already done and will do is such an honor and humbling experience.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Galatians 2:20
