My name is Nate Whisler and I am all about loving others and loving My Savior Jesus!
I am married to the most amazing woman of God named Erin Whisler. We have one adult child and his name is Negatu and He is a blessing from above!!! We adopted him a few years ago and we have three other blessings younger kids who are currently living with us or has lived with us over the last few years! I am blessed to be able to do both ministry with FCA and my local church as a senior pastor at Clay City Christian Church in Clay City Illinois! We live in Olney, Illinois and are incredibly passionate in using sports as a platform to spreading the gospel of Jesus and making disciples for Jesus in partnership with the church!
My story began in Central Indiana and I have always enjoyed sports especially basketball at all levels. Basketball is one of my passions becuase I got to be a part of programs both in college and high school of coaches that showed me and taught me about King Jesus!! Jesus is the answer, and has incredible power rising from the grave. The amazing thing is we have that same power in us through the Holy Spirit work in our lives!
I am thankful for the opportunity to get into schools and share the good news of Jesus to all people, the people. I love Jesus and His church and I am blessed to do as a job but I don’t view as a job but the calling that God has for my life!!! I am so glad to be a part of the FCA family and get to do this every day!! Thank you Lord for your amazing love and grace and the ability to show, shine and share God's light to this world!!!
